Oodles of Doodless Do you make oodles of doodles? Recently, I asked you to send me your doodles. In the coming weeks, we’ll look at some of my favorite doodles.
This doodle, from Donna, who lives in Apollo, PA, shows a Speedy-Gonzalez tortoise rushing forward under a heart-shaped sun. The contradiction between a turtle (normally thought of as of a slow poke) and a breakneck hustling roller skater shows that while Donna has the patience of a saint she feels rushed and raring to go. In order for Donna to relax she needs to be busy having adventure and fun. The heart shaped sun indicates that Donna has a warm and loving heart. But if you look carefully at the sun, you will notice that even though the face is smiling it also has one tear. This shows that on the outside Donna puts on a happy face though not everything has always been easy for her. And what’s that behind the sun? Why it’s Mr. Moon. Feedback from Donna “How can you tell all that and you’ve never met me? Oh absolutely, it’s true. Life hasn’t always been so easy for me. I do worry a lot because I have a disabled son. And people are always telling me that I need to relax and I am always trying to do something new. You are amazing.” Readers, if you want your scribbles, doodles, and psyche decoded...send them to “The Handwriting Doctor.” Please be sure to include your phone number.
